Cell Phones Cause Brain Cancer – Earth Changes 7

Dr. Sanjay Gupta investigates.(The term investigate should be used quite loosely here) I remember posting information about the use of cell phones and the link to cancer a few years ago, whilst the mainstream media, including CNN ridiculed such statements. Now as per usual the yellow corporate media back-tracks when the information becomes too overwhelming to ignore, and/or generally at a point when it is far too late for many of us to take action or protect ourselves. This is the system showing you some truth. Does visible light “cause cancer”?

Posted in Cell Phones | 1 comment

Question: Does visible light “cause cancer”?
It seems like I’ve hear people claiming that every non-visible wavelength on the electromagnetic spectrum causes cancer. People have told me that exposure cell phones, computer mice, microwave ovens, sunlight, starlight, X-Rays, and Gamma Rays all increase ones’ likelihood of getting cancer.

So my question is, does visible light cause cancer? Or does it exist only at wavelength and frequencies that are non-penetrating and non-damaging? And has every other form of electromagnetic radiation really been linked to cancer?

Answer:

Answer by Doug Hewstone
No one really knows how many things can actually cause cancer. Maybe anything we do can, in some way, increase our chances of getting cancer. However, like you said, there is more risk of getting cancer from exposure to more penetrating high frequency, short wavelength electromagnetic waves such as Gamma rays. It is therefore less likely (or there is less of a risk) for visible light to cause cancer, as it is of a lower frequency and longer wavelength, making it less ionising/damaging on the cells of our bodies.

Plus, if visible light did actually cause cancer, I suppose everyone on earth would have cancer instead of 1 in 3.
